ARLINGTON, Texas -

The Wisconsin Badgers need a moment.

They've earned some rest after a memorable season ended with a 74-73 loss to Kentucky in the Final Four.

The year began with a five-game exhibition swing through Canada in August, before football season even began. In between there was a program-record 16-game winning streak, a 1-5 slump and thrilling ride through the NCAA tournament.

Jump-shooting 7-footer Frank Kaminsky, a junior, had a breakout run through the NCAAs. He figures to return to Wisconsin, along with athletic 6-foot-8 sophomore Sam Dekker. It looks like the Badgers will lose only Ben Brust out of their top-eight rotation, while forward Nigel Hayes and guard Bronson Koenig should benefit from being key cogs off the bench in their freshmen seasons.

The Badgers finished 30-8.
