MADISON, Wis. -

After struggling Saturday, Badger women goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens bounced back Sunday against UND. The Badgers won 4-1.  Desbiens notched 29 saves to improve to 9-1.

UND actually came out of gate ahead when Michelle Karvinen scored to put UND on top 1-0 and spark thoughts of deja vu at the LaBahn Arena. From there though, Blayre Turnbull scored a pair of goals, Katie Josephs and Sarah Nurse added a goal apiece and UW won 4-1.

The victory improves Wisconsin’s record to 17-3-2, 13-3-2-1 in the WCHA, while UND fell to 13-5-2 and 10-4-2-1 in WCHA play.
