Wisconsin Softball is really, really good.

The Badgers went into Friday's doubleheader riding a 10 game winning streak. Michelle Mueller made sure that hot streak didn't end.

In game one, Mueller provided the punch, driving in one run on a first inning fly ball to right center field. In the fourth inning, Mueller was at it again. She sent a a fly ball over the right field fence to give the Badgers a 2-0 lead. Wisconsin gave up a run in the 7th, but held on to win 2-1.

In game number two, Mueller continued her hot streak. She opened the game with a single and scored on a Chloe Miller home run to give UW a 2-0 lead. Wisconsin scored three runs in the first. In the fourth inning, Mueller's SAC fly scored Katie Christner and gave Wisconsin a 4-2 lead.

In the top of the fifth, Purdue scored three runs to take a 5-4 lead. The Badgers didn't blink. In the bottom of the frame, UW scored on a Purdue throwing error and a Mary Massei single to give the Badgers the lead for good. They won 6-5.

UW hosts Purdue Saturday at 1 o'clock. With a win, Wisconsin would win their 13th straight game and tie the school record for most wins in a row.
