William T. Skelly

William T. "Bill" Skelly, age 64, of Janesville, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at St. Mary's Janesville Hospital.

He was born in Janesville on May 5, 1949, the son of Robert T. and Virginia A. (McKewan) Skelly. He graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Agricultural Economics and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Bill was employed by Wayne Feeds in the purchasing and trafficking department until retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. William Catholic Church and active in the Knights of Columbus. He loved golfing and helping his brother and nephews on the family farm.

Bill is survived by his brother, Tom (Cheryl) Skelly of Janesville; 2 nephews, Joe (Jennifer) Skelly and Scott (Laura) Skelly both of Janesville; a niece, Megan (John) Foelber of Columbia, MD; a great nephew, Luke Foelber; as well as numerous cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Mary Ann Skelly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. John Auby officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH. Memorials may be made to St. William's. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY is assisting the family with arrangements.
