William M. O'Dell

JANESVILLE - William M. O'Dell, age 59, of Janesville, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Rock Haven.

He was born in Kentucky on Dec. 24, 1953, the son of Garnett Ray and Nancy Geneva (Miller) O'Dell. William was married to Cathy Hubred from 1982 until 2008 and was employed by William Butt Realty.

He is survived by his son, Daniel "Doggle" O'Dell; and daughter, Kelly Hogan both of Janesville; granddaughter, Alexis Rose O'Dell; mother, Nancy O'Dell of Brownsville, KY; 2 brothers, Richard O'Dell of Mammoth Cave, KY and Edward (Andrea) O'Dell of Janesville; 2 sisters, Cathy (Bill) Dobbs of Clermont, KY and Brenda (Steve) Dotson of Louisville, KY; 2 special nieces, Bailey "Bug" and Madison "Muffin McKearn; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Shirley Coffey; brother, Jimmy O'Dell; and sister-in-law, Tina O'Dell.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY.
