Welcome home celebration planned for Badgers basketball team

MADISON, Wis. -

The Wisconsin Badgers will be welcomed back to Madison Sunday with a rally at the Kohl Center.

The basketball team defeated Arizona in Anaheim, Calif., on Saturday to earn a trip to the NCAA Final Four for the second time in school history.

The gates to the Kohl Center will open Sunday at 3 p.m. The event will begin as soon as the team arrives at the Kohl Center, at approximately 4 p.m.

A short program will follow the team’s arrival featuring the team and head coach Bo Ryan.

Admission is free. Fans should enter the Kohl Center at gates A or B.

All seating is general admission.

Parking is available in surrounding university lots at their standard Sunday rates, including free parking in Lots 87 and 91 on a first-come, first-served basis.
