Daffodils in the snow
These two popped out of the owl house, one morning, together. While it's not unusual to see one, it was fun to see them both checking out the day.
Didn't know the storm would be this bad today. Only squirrels at the birdfeeders.

Yesterday the residents and staff spend a great morning enjoying nine eagles feeding on the river by our home. The land about fifty yards from one of our beautiful dining rooms. What a beautiful sight.

Late yesterday morning a flock of robins started to gather at my heated birdbath until there were about 18 of them. I had to fill the birdbath twice to keep them happy.

During my run this morning there was a funky pick cloud in the sky. I was tired, so I thought this was a great excuse to stop and snap a picture.

This mysterious frost pattern appeared on the inside of my kitchen window last week. It's in the shape of branches from a tree that used to touch the outside of the window, but the tree was removed over two months ago! Any explanations?

This was our sunrise today. The last couple of days, the sunrises and sunsets have been absolutely brilliant. Is there a reason for this? It seems we get these outstanding colors when there are fires out west. Only rain there now.

We stopped for a moment in Sauk Prairie and the sun broke through the clouds after a snow flurry. The color in the clouds lasted a second, just long enough to capture this.
