Wayne Whitman, age 54 of Mauston, Wisconsin walked on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Agrace HospiceCare in Madison, Wisconsin with his loving family by his side.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Wayne’s residence at N2267 Kennedy Road, Mauston with Robert Mann officiating. Burial will be at the Blue Wing Cemetery near Tomah, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m. and on Friday at N2267 Kennedy Road from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon.

Wayne was born April 21, 1959 in Tomah, Wisconsin the son of Cecil and Amy (Decorah) Whitman. He was married to Marjorie Cloud. For many years Wayne worked for the housing committee for the HoChunk Nation and was the maintenance supervisor.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Marjorie; sons, Kidd (Leslie Wheeler) Cloud of Rock Springs, Wisconsin; daughters, Tina (Jose Perez) Whitman of Lake Delton and Nicole Rich; and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dennis; and a sister, Barbara.
