Wanda S. Post, age 57, of Highland passed away on July 16, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare following a brief battle with cancer.

Wanda was born on March 20, 1956 in Phoenix, AZ to Creed and Daisy (Miller) Thompson. She worked for the past ten years at Lands’ End. Wanda enjoyed life to the fullest, especially camping, fishing and video games. Her greatest joy was time spent with her granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Creed and Daisy Thompson; her husband, Eddie Post on February 4, 2013 and her brother, Red Thompson.

Wanda is survived by three children, William Thompson (Kyon Buford) of Dodgeville; Christine Thompson of Highland and Soni (Graham) Christensen of Lone Rock; her granddaughter, Willow Christensen; her companion, Carl Emrick; special friends, Connie Adsit and family and Charlie Sykora; a stepsister, Tina Leigh and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at 5:30 P.M. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home in Dodgeville with Pastor Craig Peach officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. A luncheon will follow at the Dodgeville Masonic Temple, please bring a dish to pass.

Wanda will be missed by many and will be remembered for her giving spirit. She would give her last penny and more to those she loved and those in need, even strangers.
