LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) -

Governor Scott Walker stopped in La Crosse Thursday afternoon.

The governor toured ORC Industries, a non-profit manufacturing company that offers jobs and training to people with disabilities.

Helping people with disabilities get into the workforce is going to be highlighted by the governor in this month's state of the state address.

Last month, Walker signed legislation that requests more federal money to get the disabled back to work.

"Sometimes it’s as simple as making an adjustment, might be in terms of the way the work place is set up, it might be as simple as gaining access to transportation, there are many ways the DVR helps in terms of getting who want to work, who have the ability and capability of working,” Governor Walker said.

Job growth in manufacturing will also be highlighted in the state of the state address.
