UW Softball leaves for NCAA Tournament

Madison, WI -

The UW Softball team took a chartered flight to Eugene, Ore. Tuesday morning to play in the NCAA Softball Tournament. 

It is their first trip to the NCAA's since 2005 and they are looking to win their first NCAA Tournament game since 2001. 

The team plays North Carolina on Thursday at 5 p.m. The other two teams in the region are Oregon, the region's host school, and BYU. Regional play is double elimination.
