Undefeated Sun Prairie ranked #3 in AP poll

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. -

Sun Prairie's unbeaten streak is keeping them at the top of the polls.

The Cardinals are ranked number 3 this week by the Associated Press in the weekly prep football poll of the top large division schools in the state.

Sun Prairie moved up one spot after beating Madison Memorial 52-42 Friday night in Madison.

Monona Grove and DeForest also got votes in this week's poll.

Lodi is the only team in south-central Wisconsin to be ranked in the middle school division. They climbed into the number 10 spot this week. Reedsburg and Mt. Horeb/Barnveld also got votes in this week's poll.

Lancaster climbed one spot to number two in the small school division this week. Darlington and New Lisbon also got votes in this week's poll.
