MILWAUKEE -

The Milwaukee Brewers plan a private unveiling Friday of a last-row statue paying tribute to broadcaster Bob Uecker.

The placement of the statue at Miller Park refers to an advertising campaign in which an usher tells Uecker he's in the wrong seat.

Uecker stands and boasts, "I must be in the front row." Instead, he's relocated to the last row.

Milwaukee said Monday the bronze statue will be unveiled in a ceremony open to special guests and the media.

The team plans to honor Uecker on the field before Friday night's game against the Chicago Cubs.

Uecker already has a statue outside the ballpark on Home Plate Plaza, along those of Hank Aaron, Robin Yount and former Brewers owner Bud Selig -- the current baseball commissioner.
