This week, Mount Horeb took over the top spot in the Division Two rankings. Tuesday, they put their undefeated record, and top ranking, on the line as they hosted Reedsburg. After a back and forth first half, the Vikings took control in the second half. They won 49-42.

In the first half, the Beavers hung with the Vikings. Alex Wolter hit a lay up to take a 19-18 lead midway through the second quarter. Mount Horeb responded with a 5-0 run to finish the half. The Vikings' Drew Fredrickson hit a three with four seconds left in the half to take a 23-19 lead into halftime.

In the second half, the Vikings seized control. Led by Isaiah Lesure's 15 points, Mount Horeb led by as many as 10. With less than two minutes to play and Mount Horeb leading by just three, Lesure hit a shot in the paint to stretch the lead to five. The Vikings made their free throws from there to win 49-42.

With the win, the Vikings improve to 5-0 in the Badger North Conference, whole Reedsburg falls to 5-1.
