Thomas "Mags" William Sutcliffe

Thomas “Mags” William Sutcliffe, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Janesville Mercy Hospital. He was born in Madison, September 29, 1956 to Robert E. “Smokey” and Elizabeth L. “Betty” (Schultz) Sutcliffe. He worked at Decar and at Madison Spring and helped his grandfather Harland. He married Donna Hernandez on May 15, 2004. Thomas enjoyed bowling, fishing, shooting pool, working on cars, camping and drinking with his friends. He was a proud member of S.A.L. Squad 437, Mazomanie for 31 years.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; stepchildren, Anthony and Carmen Hernandez; 3 grandchildren; his father, Robert “Smokey” Sutcliffe; a brother, Rick (Liz) Sutcliffe; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and a special dog, Peanut. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sutcliffe; and a brother, Bobby Sutcliffe.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00am at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy 14 West, Mazomanie. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A gathering will be held at Grandma Mary’s Café, Arena, following the service.
