PORTAGE -

The Portage girls golf team is our Prep Mania Team of the Month for August.

Portage and Waunakee kicked off the season with a dual meet at Portage Country Club as both teams were dressed out in pink to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer.

Over $1000 was raised to benefit Pink Ribbon Angels which helps a number of women around Columbia County.

Portage junior Jayde Curley says, "it makes us feel great that we can help our community because golf is a sport that many people in our community enjoy together  and being able to enjoy this with other women makes me feel great."
