Louisville coach Rick Pitino delivered on his promise to get a tattoo after winning the NCAA Tournament championship earlier this month.

Louisville senior sports information director Kenny Klein posted photos of Pitino's new ink on Twitter on Friday. The tattoo, on the left side of Pitino's upper back, features the Louisville logo in red and the words "2013 NCAA Champions 35-5."

Pitino said right after the team beat Michigan on April 8 that he promised his players during the season that he would get a tattoo if they won the national title.

"I said it ... not believing this was going to be a reality," he said on "CBS This Morning" on April 9. "But I am going to get it. I'm a man of my word."
