After spending the night in the hospital for evaluation, Jermichael Finley announced via Twitter that he has left the intensive care unit.
"I want to thank my family, friends, teammates, fans and Packer Nation for the prayers and support over the past 24 hrs. I'm happy to report that I have been transferred out of the intensive care unit and that I have full feeling in my arms and legs. As importantly,I was able 2 walk to & from the shower today, which was badly needed after yesterday's victory! Thank u again 4 the support, and Go Pack!"
He linked to a video Tuesday afternoon showing him walking down a hallway.
The Packers tight end suffered a neck injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the Browns. After making a catch, Finley got hit on the head by Browns' safety Tashaun Gipson. Finley remained motionless for several minutes before being taken off the field on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.
Monday, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said the team would not put a timetable on Finley's return to the team.
