The top three teams in both major polls stayed in their spots for another week, but Kentucky fell out of the AP top 25 for the first time since John Calipari has coached the Wildcats.

The AP media and USA Today coaches polls were released Monday.

Indiana, Duke and Michigan remain Nos. 1-3. Syracuse is No. 4 in both polls this week. The Orange moved up from sixth by AP and one spot in the coaches poll.

Kentucky, which lost twice last week to fall to 4-3 on the season, fell out of the AP poll from last week's No. 8 spot. The Wildcats came in at No. 19 in the coaches poll.

Kentucky's AP run stopped at 61 straight polls going back to the 2009-10 preseason poll, the beginning of the Calipari Era. The Wildcats were top-ranked 11 times in that span.

Indiana (8-0) got 45 first-place votes while Duke (8-0) received the remaining 20 votes in the AP poll. The Hoosiers picked up 25 of 31 No. 1 votes in the coaches poll and the Blue Devils got the other six.

The only difference in the two polls' top five is at No. 5. Florida (6-0) is fifth by AP while Louisville (6-1) was voted No. 5 by the coaches.

Duke has been in the last 101 AP polls, the longest streak in the nation. That run goes back to the 2007-08 preseason poll.
