Public health investigates dog bite on west side

MADISON, Wis. -

Public health officials are looking for a dog that bit a woman Friday afternoon on Madison’s west side, according to a release.

The incident happened around 2 p.m. near the corner of Jacobs Way and Theresa Terrace, officials said. The woman was playing with a family member when the dog came up and bit her on the arm.

It is described as a white, medium-sized dog wearing a blue collar, according to the release.

Officials ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call the police and fire dispatcher at 608-255-2345 and ask for the animal services officer.
