PREPARE TO BE DIVERSE

05/19/13

The beauty of the Urban League of Greater Madison’s annual Workplace and Diversity Summit is that it flips the traditional inclusive workforce model from job skills and hiring strategies for people of color, to preparing businesses for the diverse workplace that is their inevitable future. And they do it by letting businesses who do it right tell other interested businesses how it’s done.

Monday, the Urban League will offer speakers and presenters, including corporate leaders in workplace inclusion, workforce development professionals and inspirational experts. In other words this is day-long, hands-on, actual practices at work, get ready for the next generation reality. What we like is it treats workers and employers with the respect that comes from expectations that inclusive workplaces are the future. The Summit is at Monona Terrace, and if you hear this in time you can still register on site. You won’t be sorry.
