Police said officers are investigating reports of shorts fired Friday on Madison's south side.

The Madison Police Department said officers responded to a report of gunfire heard on Allied Drive at 10 p.m.

Three black men wearing dark clothing were walking on the 2400 block of Allied and stopped at a driveway where other juveniles were present, according to the report.

There was an argument and the suspects fired their weapons, police said.

Lt. Michael Hanson said Friday night there were no reports of injuries and no one was in custody.
