Police investigate liquor store robbery in Beaver Dam

A man held up a liquor store in Beaver Dam Wednesday night, and police are looking for help in tracking him down.

The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Coyote Gas and Liquor store in the 1300 block of North Spring Street on the city's north side.

According to police, the man walked into the store wearing a black ski mask, displayed a gun with long, thin barrel, and asked for money. The man took the money and ran off going west from the store.

Police describe the man as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130-150 pounds, last seen wearing a dark t-shirt with a flannel patterned hooded jacket. Anyone with information about this armed robbery is asked to call Beaver Dam police.
