Chad D. Huber, 48, of Janesville

JANESVILLE, Wis. -

Police said a Janesville man charged with a fourth drunken driving offense Friday night had a blood alcohol content of nearly three times the legal limit when arrested.

The Janesville Police Department said an officer saw a car drive off the roadway while negotiating the ramp from North Parker Drive to eastbound East Memorial Drive at 11:44 p.m.

During a traffic stop the officer smelled the odor of intoxicants coming from the driver, 48-year-old Chad D. Huber, who admitted to drinking, according to the report.

Police said Huber's most recent previous conviction was for a third operating while intoxicated offense more than five years ago.

Police said a preliminary breath sample from Huber was .23. The legal limit for drivers in Wisconsin is .08.

Huber was arrested on suspicion of fourth-offense OWI and taken to Rock County Jail.
