Police: Armed men rob west side pizza place

A pizza place on Madison’s far west side was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning, according to a release from the Madison Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to Glass Nickel Pizza at 3191 Muir Field Road around 2:45 a.m. for reports of a robbery, officials said.

Two men entered the restaurant wearing masks and one displayed a dark-colored handgun, according to the release. The two men confronted the employees and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials ask anyone with information on the incident to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
