Mallards infielder John LaPrise

John LaPrise is dominating his Northwoods League competition. He's batting .448 and has hits in 19 of the 25 games he's played.

LaPrise is a Pennsylvania native who plays college baseball at the University of Virginia.

The infielder has made baseball look easy and he's coming along with living in the Dairy State, eating cheese curds, and even translating those who speak with the dreaded Wisconsin accent.

He's the topic of Friday's Pick Six.
