MADISON -

The Nittany Lions are still the class of the Big Ten.

Penn State came into the UW Fieldhouse Friday night and, for the first two sets, Wisconsin looked like they were going to make it a long night for the Nittany Lions. But it was not to be for the young Badgers, as Penn State took the first two sets 25-23 and 27-25, before thumping UW 25-16 in the third set.

Wisconsin was led by Ellen Chapman with 20 kills while Dominique Thompson added 10 kills.

The Badgers fall to 19-8 on the season and tied for fifth in the Big Ten Conference at 8-7.
