Patricia A. "Pat" Bach

Patricia A. “Pat” Bach, age 76, of Dodgeville, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Upland Hills Health following a brief battle with cancer.

The former Pat Thornton was born on July 15, 1937 in Beloit to James and Cora (Thompson) Thornton. She was a 1955 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. Pat married Donald Bach of Beloit on August 3, 1957. Pat worked as a Social Worker for Iowa County Social Services for many years before working for 15 years as Legal Secretary for then Atty. Bill Dyke. Pat enjoyed shopping for a bargain and collecting Hallmark Christmas ornaments. She was an officer of Madison Chapter of the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Sherry Lou; a sister, Donna Miller and her husband Jack and a brother-in-law, Dale Bach.

Pat is survived by her husband, Don of Dodgeville; three children, Shaya (David) Berg of Dodgeville and their children, Sarah (Mike) Campbell, Nina Berg and Daniel Berg; Lisa (Matt) Leonard of Madison and her children, Ashley (Joe) Brown and Tyler (Tara) Husom and Jim (Robin) Bach of Madison and their son, Axel; five great grandchildren, Brenden Roling; Olivia and Andrew Campbell and Hayden and Kinlee Husom; two sisters, Sandy Bach of Rockton, IL and Laura Curtis of Beloit; Don’s siblings, Kenny Bach of Rockton, IL; Keith “Butch” (Jean) Bach of Beloit; Chuck Bach of Beloit; Alan (Cher) Bach of Rockton, IL; Gary (Polly) Bach of Rockton, IL; Marilyn (Bob) Bach-Wille of Tempe, AZ and David (Deb) Bach of Coloma, MI as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home in Dodgeville with Fr. Patrick Wendler officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday after 4:00 P.M.
