Virginia Puckett

LODI- Virginia (Bartholomew) Puckett of Lodi, age 84, passed away on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Our House Senior Living Memory Care in Wisconsin Dells.

She was born on Jan. 20, 1929, to Charles and Dorothy Bartholomew. Virginia was a lifetime member of Lodi United Methodist Church. Many people in the Lodi area will remember her as owner of her upholstery business, which she enjoyed for years.

Virginia is survived by her children, Phyllis Schiltz of Chula Vista, Calif. and Dorothy O’Neill of Wauakee. She also leaves behind six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her only sister, Charlaine Brereton. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John L. Puckett; and infant son, John Jr.

Funeral services will be held at LODI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 130 Locust St., Lodi, on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday.
