Victor Robert Mutter

MIDDLETON-Victor Robert Mutter, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 28, 1931 in Milwaukee, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Tuttle) Mutter. Victor was a teacher and administrator with the Milwaukee and Madison Public Schools for 39 years where the impact of his work with his students is immeasurable. He was an avid Packer fan starting before the Lombardi years and far beyond. Victor set aside his Saturdays for the Badgers and his Sundays for the Packers. He also enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, painting and traveling but treasured most the time spent with his family. He was a member of Luther Memorial Church, Madison.

Surviving are his daughter Vickie Ann (Rick) Higgins; a son Cory Scott (Karen) Mutter and two grandchildren, Zachary and Jennifer Mutter. Victor was preceded in death by his mother in 1961; his father in 1987 and a son Mark in 2000.

A Celebration of Victor’s life will be held at a later date.
