Ruth Ann Fraser

JANESVILLE ---Ruth Ann Fraser, age 79, of Janesville, died on Sunday, May 12, 2013, at home. She was born in Janesville on Aug. 25, 1933, the daughter of Omer and Rose Marie (Maryatt) Onsgard. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1952, and married Ronald W. Fraser in Janesville on June 27, 1953. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1996. Ruth was a lifetime member of First Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed many bible classes, and was a member of the prayer chain, Grace Circle. She had been employed by Parker Pen for 20 years, Club 67 for 20 years, Snyder Drugs, OSCO, and CVS Pharmacy for a total of 20 years. Ruth was an avid fan of the Badger football and basketball team and had season's tickets for over 30 years. She enjoyed the Packers and always wished she could have met Donald Driver. Ruth was a people person, and greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Mark R. (Laura) Fraser of Bellingham, WA and Gary R. (Leslie) Fraser of Janesville; 6 grandchildren: Charley Fraser, Jesse Fraser and Riley Fraser all of Bellingham, WA, Justine (Andy Metten) Fraser of Ft. Collins, CO, Kelsey (Michael) Kletzien and Andrew (Samantha Debroux) both of Janesville; 2 great grandchildren, Remington Kletzien and Adrian Fraser; sister, Marie Dean of Janesville; brother, Mark (Connie) Onsgard of Orfordville; 2 sisters-in-law, Phyllis Onsgard and Virginia Seefeldt; brother-in-law, Robert (Kathy) Fraser; and lifelong friend, Carol (Gothe) Comfort. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 siblings: Richard Onsgard, Duane (Barbara) Onsgard, and Jean (Louie) Polzin; and 2 brothers-in-law, Richard Seefeldt and Richard Fraser.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH with Rev. James Melvin and Rev. Naomi Garber officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the church. Interment will be in Milton Lawns memorial Park.
