Penelope Sue (Nee Alexander) Stirgus

MILWAUKEE/MADISON/MONONA-Penelope Sue (Nee Alexander) Stirgus, age 65, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013.

She was born on Dec. 10, 1947, the daughter of Donna and Bernerd. Penny graduated from Madison East High School and worked in the U.S.O. as a nurse during the Vietnam conflict. She helped co-found a Milwaukee Chapter of the Share Project Organization. When Penny moved to Madison, she continued to assist with the Madison Share Project. She enjoyed playing games and was active in her senior community. Penny was a Jehovah’s Witness.

She is survived by her mother, Donna Holton; daughters, Sandra (Charles Harris) Stirgus, Kathy Almeida, and Regina (Angel, Sr.) Cotto; grandchildren, Kevin Stirgus, Shawn Harris, Alex Ramirez, Tyler Stirgus-Harris, Kaylani Stirgus, Nevaeh Cotto, Angelina Cotto, and Mike (Angel, Jr.) Cotto; sisters, Pam Rosemary, May Ann, and Wendy; and brothers, Kenny, Ed, and Doug.

Memorial services will be held at KINGDOM HALL of JEHOVAH ‘S WITNESSES, 4545 East Buckeye Road, Madison, on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. Faithful and dedicated Jehovah’s Witness, It’s our hope that she will be resurrected. See (Acts 24:15) To a paradise earth. See (Psalm 37:11)
