Michael H. Riley

LODI-Michael H. “Mike” Riley, age 72, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, November 22, 2013.

He was born in Madison in 1941 to the late Charles and Mary Riley. He attended Wisconsin High School. His education and professional career took him away from the area, but he returned 15 years ago and has lived on Lake Wisconsin ever since. He was most recently the general manager of five Madison area Ace Hardware stores.

Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Diane Riley; three children, Patrick Riley, Eden Prairie, MN., Brian (Dawn) Riley, Chanhassen, MN., Kelly (Ed) Donovan, Alexandria, VA; four grandchildren, Jack, Colin, Lindsey and Liam and a brother, David (Anna) Riley, Hot Springs, AR.

Memorial services will be held at LODI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 130 Locust St., Lodi at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. For online condolences please visit, www.gundersonfh.com

    A basket of puppies arrived at the News 3 studio in Madison Friday morning as part of a promotion between a cab company and a Madison-based pet rescue. Uber and Underdogpetrescue.org teamed up to offer a puppy break to Uber app users that benefits the pet rescue. Condi (brown) and Wylie (black) got lots of snuggles and love from staff before they went on their way to cheer up other Madisonians through Uber until 3 p.m., the company said.
