Marie T. Dahl

STOUGHTON-Marie T. Dahl, age 81, passed away peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, after a struggle with lung cancer.

Marie was born on Nov. 30, 1932, in Madison, to the late Don and Grace Temby. She was married to Louis Dahl on Feb. 4, 1956, in Waterloo. Marie attended Belleville High School and was active in Madison Theatre Guild, Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, and Antique Dealers’ Association. She was extremely fond of theatre and antiques.

Marie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Louis Dahl; daughters, Mary Fleischman and Jenny O’Conner of Idaho; five granddaughters; and three great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan; and her son, Joe Dahl.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family.

The family would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare for the loving support they gave to Marie and the family.
