Karen Friedli

MIDDLETON-Karen Friedli, age 71, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013 Middleton.

She was born on October 3, 1941 in Dodgeville, the daughter of Emry and Eunice (Hughes) Davis. Karen was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Friedli on August 20, 1960 in Ridgeway. She graduated from Ridgeway High School and worked as a secretary for numerous businesses. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening, working puzzles, was an avid Cubs and Badger fan, but truly treasured most the time she spent with her family.

Karen is survived by two sons, Kevin (Barb) Friedli and Ryan Friedli; three grandchildren, Amaya, Logan and Cade; a brother, Tom (Shari) Davis; her twin, Sharon (Dennis) Budd and sisters, Deanna (Ardell) Lunda and Darcy (Bill) Ayen; three sisters-in-law, Carol (Gerry) Bertram, Karen (Gary) Clemo and Sherry (Jack) Malone; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dick in Dec. 2012, sister, Marsha Davis in 2010 and brothers-in-law, Cecil Salzman and Bill Friedli.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave, Middleton at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2013. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Barneveld. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and also on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
