Judith M. "Judy" Goodnature

MADISON - Judith “Judy” M. Goodnature, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.

She was born on June 21, 1945, the daughter of Samuel and Olive (Emery) McConnell. She attended Central High School. She worked at General Casualty until her retirement. Judy married Michael L. Goodnature on June 14, 1980 in Madison. She enjoyed shopping, garage sale-ing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Larry “Joe” (Tanya) Caravello, and Duane (Cara) Caravello; her grandchildren, Debra Shohet, Katherine Caravello, Nicolas Caravello, April Caravello, and Ashley Woodard-Caravello; her step-grandchildren, Crystal Bowey, Janice Bowey, and Matthew Bowey; her great-grandchild, Hailey Kahl; her brother, Kenneth McConnell; her sister, Donna (Gary) Hall; her uncle, Fred McConnell; many nieces and nephews; and her very special best friend, Mary Thayer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Goodnature; her parents; her brother, Ralph McConnell; and her sisters, Ruth (Harold) Moore and Barbara McConnell.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., on Sunday, September 1, 2013, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Sunday.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff at Belmont Nursing Home for taking such good care of mom.
