MADISON-Joseph P. Foley passed away on Nov. 6, 2013, at Artisan Memory Care Center following a progressive, debilitating diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease.

Joe was born May 18, 1925, in Gillingham,WI, was the son of Steve and Mary Louise Foley. He attended Richland Center High School. In June 1949, he married Bette Dunne and began his 38 year career with the Greyhound Bus Company which matched his out-going personality and love for travel. Following his retirement from Greyhound, he began a new career as an estimator for the Strassman Paving Company.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Stephanie Rettig and Raelyn (Michael) Eannelli. He was always known as "POPEYE" by his 6 grandchildren, Benjamin (Taryn) Rettig, Elizabeth Rettig, Katie (friend Jenna) Eannelli, Dana (Mike) Lofgren, Dominic Eannelli and Michael Eannelli. Additionally, he has 3 great grand-children: Twin brothers, Brady and Graeme Rettig and Elle Rae Lofgren.

Preceding Joe in death were his parents; three brothers, Steven, Thomas, James; a sister ,Kathryn Turnmire; and son-in-law, Reuel Rettig.

Family requests no flowers. In remembrance of Joe, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare or Edgewood High School.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5310 Flad Ave.
