Eleanor Jean Buttry

LODI-Eleanor Jean Buttry, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born on January 23, 1932 in Ottawa, Illinois the daughter of Anton and Minnie Leberecht. Eleanor married Jesse Buttry on November 21, 1953.

She loved music, shopping, old movies, flowers & quilting.

Eleanor is survived by her two children, Jess Buttry and Susan Best (Don Vines); grandchildren, Elizabeth Best and Lauren Eleanor Vines; brothers,Fred Leberecht and Richard Hering; nephew, Bob Reding; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse in 2008; and sisters, Elizabeth Reding and Lorraine Molitor.
Funeral Services will be held at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 258 Lodi St., Lodi at 12:00 PM, on Saturday, September 28, 2013 with Reverend Gretchen Lord Anderson presiding. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Eleanor’s Maplewood family for all the care they gave her throughout the years.
