MADISON/HARTFORD-Beulah Kissel of Hartford went to her eternal home Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Agrace HospiceCare in Madison. She was 100 years old.

Beulah was born May 13, 1913 in Fond du Lac to Harry and Caroline (nee Ristau). She married William W. Kissel on May 29, 1937 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.

She moved with her family to Hartford in 1920 and attended Hartford High School where she was Valedictorian of her graduating class. Beulah was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church Alter Guild for many years. After her children were raised, she worked at Libbies Canning Factory and later International Stamping. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing Bridge, and was a member of Senior Friends.

Beulah is survived by sons, Bill (Stephanie) of Madison and Doug (Sheila) of Hartford; and son-in-law, Fred Strey of Appleton. She is further survived by four granddaughters and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas and Roy Durland; her husband, William; and daughter, Kathleen.

Cremation was completed in Madison and a private graveside ceremony will be held by the family at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
