FITCHBURG-On Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at 9:16 a.m., our beautiful, 20-year-old son, Ryan M. Smith, went home to our Father in heaven and his heavenly family; grandparents, Devoe and Will B. Smith; uncle, Michael Smith; aunt, Marie Ingram; and many others.

Ryan, the son of Jeff and Cathy Smith, was born on March 10, 1992, at the Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was the most beautiful and happy baby you’d ever seen. His smile was contagious. Ryan grew into an all-star athlete (in our eyes) just like his dad. He loved the Green Bay Packers and stood by them through thick and thin. Even when he lived in San Antonio, Texas; he stood strong in Cowboy-land for the Green and Gold. Ryan was blessed to have a Texas family; Roland and Ester Ramirez, second parents; Nick, Texas brother; Samantha, Texas sister; and many, many more.

Ryan is survived by his siblings; Victoria (nieces, Anya and Jasiah), Jeffrey, Jr. (wife, Debbie); Matthew, Chelsea, Jared, and Brycen; as well as many family members in Wisconsin.

Funeral services for Ryan will be held at MOUNT ZION BAPTIST CHURCH, 2019 Fisher St., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. Memorials may be directed to Summit Credit Union or Gunderson Funeral and Cremation Care in Ryan’s name. On-line condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

We love you, Ryan. You left us too soon!Gunderson_Funeral
