Raymond Arvid Beckeman

Raymond Beckeman, age 77 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg, Wisconsin with his loving family by his side.

Memorial funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating and military rites presented by the Maurice C. Havey Post 5970 of Lyndon Station. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:30 A.M.

Raymond was born May 24, 1935 in Muskegon, Michigan the son of George and Ida (Timmer) Beckeman and graduated from Dundee High School in Dundee, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Army, was stationed in Japan, Iwo Jima and Korea and was honorably discharged in 1963. He married Myrna Moss in June of 1969 in Elgin, Illinois. He was an awesome machinist his whole life and retired from Columbia Par Car in Reedsburg.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Myrna; children, Linda (Mark) Smith of Fontana, Wisconsin, George (Renee) Jacobs of Kansas City, Kansas, Mike (Debbie) Jacobs, Tammy Stowers and Jennifer (Eric) Wood all of Lyndon Station; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a good friend, Sharon Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; a son, Joseph Jacobs and a daughter, Deborah Bebee.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
