Minnie L. LuContreras

Minnie LuContreras, age 80 years, was born on August 8, 1932 to the late Noah and Elnora Henderson. She received Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and after returning to him later in her life she became a disciple of Christ positively affecting the lives of all family, friends and enemies she knew with her abounding love.

On February 2nd, 2013, Minnie LuContreras peacefully departed from her earthly vessel. She leaves to cherish her memories - three sons, Robert Henderson, Saygo Henderson, and Turhane Henderson all of Madison, WI; three daughters, Sandra Henderson, Sheilah Henderson of Milwaukee, WI, and Rhonda (Jill) Henderson of West Covina, CA; one brother, David Henderson; and one sister, Eloise Mixon. She also leaves 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many dear friends; including her deceased two brothers, D.O. Henderson and L.P. Henderson and one deceased sister, Velion Miller.

Mother Minnie received many awards and accolades including being ordained as a Minister Of The Gospel at Jordan Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee, WI. She was Assistant Pastor alongside Pastor Carolyn Davis DeLeon at Tabernacle Of Praise in Madison, WI. The many works of her love cannot all be recorded with words, but watch and see as the seeds she has planted shall produce a great harvest for many years to come!!!
