Millie E. (Klausch) Herschleb

MORRISONVILLE/DEFOREST-Millie Herschleb, age 88, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at her home near Morrisonville. Millie was born on Nov. 1, 1924, in Cambria, the daughter of Edward and Florence (Mull) Klausch. Millie was united in marriage to Duane Herschleb on May 26, 1950. Early in her career she worked at Oscar Mayer and the Porcelain Factory in Sun Prairie. In 1963, Millie and Duane established Duane Herschleb Plumbing, which they operated until Duane’s death in 1996. Millie was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church since 1963.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Ann (Elgin) Paskey; brother-in-law, Glen (Marilyn) Herschleb; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, W6906 County Hwy K, Arlington, at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, with Pastor Scott Schwertfeger presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from Noon until the time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to Zion Lutheran Church would be appreciated.

Funeral services will be held at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, W6906 County Hwy K, Arlington, at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, with Pastor Scott Schwertfeger presiding.

  • PHOTOS: Viewers drop off sensitive documents for Shredfest

    The WISC-TV studio parking lot was busy with hundreds of viewers bringing their sensitive documents to be destroyed as part of Shredfest with the Better Business Bureau Saturday morning.

    A combined 1,295 cars dropped off bags of papers at WISC-TV on Raymond Road and SVA Certified Public Accountants firm on John Q. Hammons Drive.

    News 3 and Better Business Bureau team members unloaded bags of documents from viewers' cars and Pellitteri Waste Systems' Data Destruction team put the papers into the shredding trucks.
