MIDDLETON-Marilee Audrey Giese, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. She was born on April 1, 1927, in Nelma, Forest County, the daughter of William Glenn and Alice Ruth (Shaffer) Phillips. Marilee was united in marriage to Richard Henry Giese on January 15, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a graduate of Loyal High School and earned an associate’s degree at MATC. Marilee worked as an accountant specialist for the state of Wisconsin retiring in 1990. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Madison.

Marilee is survived by her daughter, Sally Ann (Randall) Knight; a sister, Blanche (Harold) Nowak; a niece Marta (Alllan) Bohl and many other nieces and nephews.
