Madeline M. Schultz

COLUMBUS/FALL RIVER—Madeline M. Schultz age 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Columbus Community Hospital. She was born on November 19, 1925 to John and Goldie (Sommerfield) Neuman of Lost Lake, WI. She was married to Robert Schultz on December 28, 1951. They farmed in the Fall River area until retirement and moved to Columbus. Madeline was a stay-at-home mom while her kids were in their younger years. Later she took a variety of part-time positions at local canning factories and the Wisconsin Cheeseman. Madeline was very family oriented and loved to bake for others and her family. She especially loved her grandbabies. They were the love of her life. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Columbus. Madeline moved to The Meadows in Fall River this past summer.

Survivors include her five children, Judy Gove Robbins of Fall River, Ronald (Brenda) of Baraboo, Glenn (Sally) of Fall River, Diana (John) Werth of Markesan, Kathy (Steve) Davidson of Columbus; 14 grandchildren, Beth (Dennis) Hensen of Lincoln NE, Patti Phillips of Appleton, Kyle (Heather) Robbins of Fall River, Mitchell Schultz of Baraboo, Robert Schultz of Fort Knox KY, Lisa (D.G.) Koehler of Oregon, Justin (Tabitha) Schultz of Rio, Tylor Schultz of Fall River, Tara (Christopher) Heidger of Fort Bragg NC, Kaylin Werth of Glacier Bay AK, Gregory Werth of Stevens Point, Lindsey Davidson of Strykersville NY, Stephanie Davidson of McFarland, Amanda Davidson of Columbus; 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Arden Neuman of Randolph; two sisters, Clara Kennedy of Columbus and Marlene (Wallace) Christian of Reeseville; other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Carroll Gove (casualty of WWII), a grandson, Travis Schultz, a brother, Curtis Neuman, husband Robert in 1991, a son-in-law, Larry Robbins in 1996.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30A.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at ST JEROME CATHOLIC CHURCH in Columbus. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the church on Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the Columbus Community Hospital or St. Jerome Church.

The family would like to thank the staff at Columbus Community Hospital, and the staff at The Meadows in Fall River for their special love and care given to our mother.
