Loretta Wysocki

OREGON-Loretta Wysocki, age 87, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, in Oregon. She was born on May 30, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. As a young girl, she moved to Poland before World War II. In Poland, Loretta was trapped for the duration of the war. She received her education and learned to farm while in Poland. Loretta returned to America in the mid 1940’s. Loretta married Edward V. Wysocki in 1947, in Massachusetts. She sang with many church choirs wherever they lived over the years in Massachusetts and Florida.

Loretta is survived by her sons, Ed (Lauren) of Oregon and James Wysocki of San Francisco, Calif.; two granddaughters, Jennifer (David) Bradley and Lorraine; two great-grandsons, James and Liam Bradley; and is further survived by many friends in Kings Point, S.C.C. Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and brother, Tony Zambrzycki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY MOTHER OF CONSOLATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 651 N. Main St., Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, with Father Gary Wankerl presiding. Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare.
