Paoli, WI - Julaine C. Nicholson, age 77, of Paoli went to be with her heavenly father surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Ingleside Manor in Mt. Horeb.  She was born on November 13, 1935 to her parents William J. and Cecilia M. (Clark) Crowley at Rising Sun, Crawford County, WI.  Julaine attended schools at Rising Sun.  On May 5, 1956 she was united in marriage to Darrel Nicholson at Viroqua, WI.  Julaine worked as a custodian at Edgewood High School for many years and also did home day care and worked at the Four Winds Manor in Verona.  Julaine was a member of Grace Church in New Glarus, St. Williams in Paoli, and St. James in Rising Sun.

Julaine is survived by her husband Darrel, children Carmen (Gregory) McDonald of New Glarus, WI, Robin (Cindy) Nicholson of Sun Prairie, WI, and Juliana (Brian) Smith of Brooklyn, WI, grandchildren Elaine (Jeremiah), Sarah, Kyle (Jessica), Curtis, Tanya, Derek, Christopher, Andrew, and Thomas, great-grandchildren Kennedy, Reagan, and Skyler.  She is further survived by her brothers Bill, Owen, and Ed Crowley and sisters Janet Henderson, Roseanne Aspenson, and Mary Gray, and her extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Terrance, two infant sisters, and two infant grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with Pastor Rich Gibbs officiating.

Relatives and friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of service on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.

A memorial fund has been established.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ingleside Manor and Care Wisconsin especially Carol for their compassionate care of mom.
