STOUGHTON-Debra A. Larsen, age 55, of Stoughton, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on July 11, 1957, in Marceline, MO., the daughter of Willie Oliver and Emily (Guthrie) Oliver. Debra graduated from Columbia High School in Columbia, MO. She attended Columbia School of Practical Nursing in Columbia, MO. earning her degree in Nursing. She was employed as an LPN at Ellis Fischell Burn Hospital and the VA Hospital in Columbia. Debra was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Larsen Sr. on Dec. 29, 1984, in Madison. She transferred to the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in 1984, and later went to work for WPS in Madison. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, making Native American crafts, sharing her Native American heritage with others, and camping. Debra also enjoyed time spent with friends, and especially family.

Debra is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of Stoughton; children, Nicholas A. Schouten and Kenneth A. Gunderson_Funeral Larsen Jr., both of Stoughton; grandchildren, Whitney and Sakara; and sisters, Catherine (Sylvester) Okpon of Houston, Texas, and Gina (Jose Hernandez) Oliver of Columbia, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Benjamin.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at AMERICAN LEGION HALL, POST 59, 803 N. Page St., STOUGHTON, from Noon until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
