Deborah Lynn Anderson

EVANSVILLE-Deborah Lynn Anderson, age 58, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at her home. She was born on Oct. 1, 1954, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, the daughter of David and Elnora (Miller) Germann. Deborah graduated from LaFollette High School in 1973. Over the years, Deb worked with the LaFayette Sheriff’s Department and various restaurants. She was currently a waitress at the Green Forest in Evansville, the Merrimac Café, and a bartender at the Tamarack in Morrisonville, as well as former owner of a successful daycare business. Deb was a former member of the Darlington Jaycees. She enjoyed cross-stitching, baking, cooking, dancing and socializing. Deb especially enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren, and also her two companion dogs, Harley and Rosco.

Deb is survived by her children, Heather (Scott) Theel of Evansville and their children, Kahner and Hannah, Heidi (Brent) Henkes of Pelican Rapids, Minn. and their children, Reece, Braden, and Karston, Shane (Melinda) Rogers and their daughter, Lyla of Arlington, and Stephanie (Brian) Larson of DeSoto and their child, Skylar Rogers; sisters, Patricia (Jim) Manton, Cathy (Jim) Rogers, and Coreen (Bob) Schrenk; brothers, David (Sue) Germann and Warren (Anita) Germann; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Mark.

A Celebration of Deb’s Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Private family interment will be held at a later date at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. On-line condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
