Westport – Darlene M. Frazier, age 78 died on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born August 25, 1934 in Madison, the daughter of John and Eleanor (Doerschlag) Spaeni.

She graduated from Madison East High School with honors in 1952. She married Albert Frazier on April 25, 1953 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Monona. She worked as a personal banker at Bank One for over 25 years until her retirement in 1986. She loved to read, travel, and was an avid Packer and Brewers fan.

She is survived by her husband Albert Frazier of Waunakee; son Michael (Cassie) Frazier of Lake Mills; daughter Pamela Jo (Tom) Dudley of Mercer; seven grandchildren, Tim, Matthew, Jennifer Frazier-Smith, Lindsay and Samantha Frazier and Don (Jessie) and Kayla Dudley; a sister Sandra (Clint) Vandall of Washington; two brothers John (Nancy) Spaeni of Madison and Tim (Diana) Spaeni of DeForest; and three great-grandchildren Aiden, Kaylee and Ben.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Mary Kae Frazier-Smith and a brother Ted Spaeni.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Ave., Madison at 10:00 a.m., with Msgr. Charles Schluter officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

Her laughter was so contagious and she was such a caring person to all and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
